InTray™ Colorex™ O157

InTray™ Colorex™ O157 is designed for simultaneous growth, observation, and chromogenic differentiation of E. coli O157 from clinical or food specimens. This device makes preliminary detection easy by producing distinctive color differences between the growth of E. coli O157 and E. coli as well as other organisms within as little as 18-24 hours. The InTray™ Colorex™ O157 inhibits the growth of mold, fungi, and other bacteria.

InTray™ Colorex™ Listeria

InTray™ Colorex™ Listeria and InTray™ Colorex™ Identification Listeria, traditionally used in tandem, isolate, chromogenically differentiate, and confirm the presence of Listeria monocytogenes.The InTray™ Colorex™ Listeria provides initial differentiation and presumptive identification of Listeria species while the InTray™ Colorex™ Identification Listeria provides confirmation of suspect L. monocytogenes colonies plated from the InTray™ Colorex™ Listeria. Together, they make preliminary detection and confirmation easy by producing distinct chromogenic differences between growing organisms within as little as 18-24 hours. InTray™ Colorex™ Salmonella

InTray™ Colorex™ Salmonella allows for simultaneous growth, observation, and chromogenic differentiation of Salmonella species, including S. typhi and S. paratyphi, traditionally taken from clinical stool specimens. The InTray™ Colorex™ Salmonella inhibits the growth of yeasts, mold, fungi, and other bacteria, resulting in 100% sensitivity and 89% specificity for Salmonella compared to 78% specificity with traditional Hektoen Agar.

InTray™ Colorex™ Salmonella Plus

For the detection of Salmonella species, including lactose positive species required in food microbiology by the ISO 6579:2002 standard. This device can also accept clinical specimens, and it’s compatible with membrane filtration procedures. This device allows for simultaneous growth, observation, and chromogenic differentiation of the Salmonella genus of bacteria, including S. typhi, S. paratyphi, and lactose positive species. This device makes detecting and differentiating Salmonella sp. in food samples easy with a unique color change removing the potential for other organisms to hide their presence.

InTray™ Colorex™ Vibrio

Colorex™ Vibrio serves as a microbiology sample collection, transport, and culture device that allows for simultaneous growth, observation, and chromogenic differentiation of the Vibrio species known to be responsible for food and water-borne illnesses. The device inhibits the growth of mold, fungi and other bacteria, including E. coli, to increase specificity. The specially formulated chromogenic media makes preliminary visual identification easy while inhibiting potential interference in obtaining accurate results.

InTray™ Baird Parker with Egg Yolk Tellurite

The InTray™ Baird Parker is a microbiology sample collection, transport, and culture device for isolation and enumeration of Staphylococcus aureus from food, clinical and environmental samples and integrates with membrane filtration procedures. Staphylococci are ubiquitous and can be found on many surfaces including on food and in water and soil. The agar used in The InTray™ Baird Parker is recommended in the official AOAC International procedure for the isolation and enumeration of Staphylococcus aureus. EY Tellurite in this moderately selective medium produces grey to black S. aureus colonies; further, coagulase positive S. aureus colonies will display distinctive clear halos.
