InTray™ mEndo LES

The InTray™ mEndo LES is a microbiology sample collection, transport, and culture device for total coliform enumeration of water samples using membrane filtration procedures. Presence of coliforms in water indicates organic, environmental or fecal contamination. The fully enclosed InTray™ system enhances safety by preventing contamination and reduces exposure to collected samples. InTray™ mEndo LES integrates with standard methods 9222 A, B, C as outlined by the American Public Health Association (APHA) in Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Waste Water in accordance with EPA rule 40 CFR 141.

InTray™ mFC Agar with Rosolic Acid

The InTray™ mFC is a microbiology sample collection, transport, and culture device for enumeration of fecal coliforms in water samples using membrane filtration procedures. Fecal coliform presence is indicative of animal fecal contamination caused by warm-blooded animals. The fully enclosed InTray™ system enhances safety by preventing contamination and reduces exposure to collected samples. This device integrates with standard method 9222 D as outlined by the American Public Health Association (APHA) in Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Waste Water in accordance with EPA rule 40 CFR 141.

InTray™ Baird Parker with Egg Yolk Tellurite

The InTray™ Baird Parker with EY (egg yolk) Tellurite is a microbiology sample collection, transport, and culture device for isolation and enumeration of Staphylococcus aureus from food, clinical and environmental samples and integrates with membrane filtration procedures. Staphylococci are ubiquitous and can be found on many surfaces including on food and in water and soil. The agar used in The InTray™ Baird Parker is recommended in the official AOAC International procedure for the isolation and enumeration of Staphylococcus aureus. EYT in this moderately selective medium produces grey to black S. aureus colonies; further, coagulase positive S. aureus colonies will display distinctive clear halos.

InTray™ KF Strep

The InTray™ KF Strep is a microbiology sample collection, transport, and culture device for enumeration of fecal streptococci in surface water samples using direct plating or membrane filtration procedures. InTray™ KF Strep contains a chromogenic agent, TTC, giving color to colonies and facilitating detection and enumeration. The presence of streptococci in surface or recreational waters is used as an indicator of fecal contamination. The fully enclosed InTray™ system enhances safety by preventing contamination and reduces exposure to collected samples.

InTray™ Listeria & InTray™ ID Listeria

InTray™ Colorex™ Listeria and InTray™ Colorex™ Identification Listeria are microbiology sample collection, transport and culture devices, traditionally used in tandem, for the isolation, chromogenic differentiation and confirmation of Listeria monocytogenes presence.The InTray™ Colorex™ Listeria provides initial differentiation and presumptive identification of Listeria species while the InTray™ Colorex™ Identification Listeria provides confirmation of suspect Listeria monocytogenes colonies plated from the InTray™ Colorex™ Listeria. Together, they make preliminary detection and confirmation easy by producing distinct chromogenic differences between growing organisms with as little as 18-24 hours. Both devices a inhibit the growth of mold, fungi and other bacteria, including E. coli and E. faecalis.

InTray™ mE and EIA

The InTray™ mE Agar and InTray™ EIA are microbiology sample collection, transport and culture devices, traditionally used in tandem, for the isolation, differentiation, and enumeration of enterococci in water samples using membrane filtration procedures. The fully enclosed InTray™ system enhances safety by preventing contamination and reduces exposure to collected samples. Enterococci are a subgroup of fecal streptococci and are differentiated by their ability to survive in high salt/pH conditions. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recommends using the presence of enterococci as the best indicator of health risk in recreational waters. This device integrates with standard method 9230 C as outlined by the American Public Health Association (APHA) in Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Waste Water. * mE EIA are not packaged together.

InTray™ mHPC

The InTray™ mHPC is a microbiology sample collection, transport, and culture device for performing heterotrophic plate counts from treated, potable water samples using membrane filtration procedures. The fully enclosed InTray™ system enhances safety by preventing contamination and reduces exposure to collected samples. The InTray™ mHPC integrates with standard method 9215 D as outlined by the American Public Health Association (APHA) in Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Waste Water.

InTray™ mTEC Modified

The InTray™ mTEC Modified is a microbiology sample collection, transport, and culture device for colony counts and chromogenic differentiation of thermotolerant Escherichia coli in water samples using membrane filtration procedures. E.coli can contaminate drinking water when water treatment systems are inadequate or during periods of high rainfall. InTray™ mTEC Modified can also be used to test recreational waters for contamination. The fully enclosed InTray™ system enhances safety by preventing contamination and reduces exposure to collected samples. This device integrates with standard methods 9213 D and 9222 as outlined by the American Public Health Association (APHA) in Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Waste Water.

InTray™ PDA

The InTray™ PDA allows for simultaneous growth and observation of many species of organisms including yeasts, molds, and fungus, as well as the cultivation and sporulation of various dermatophytes. Potato Dextrose Agar is recommended by the American Public Health Association (APHA) for plate counts of yeasts and molds in the examination of foods and dairy products.

InTray™ Pseudomonas Isolation Agar

The InTray™ Pseudomonas Isolation (PI) Agar is a microbiology sample collection, transport, and culture device for isolation of Pseudomonas species and differentiation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in environmental and clinical specimens using direct plating or membrane filtration procedures. Pseudomonas are ubiquitous bacteria found in the soil, on plants and in freshwater and marine habitats. P. aeruginosa is an opportunistic gram- negative bacterium and is one of the most common causes of Hospital Acquired Infections (HAI). The fully enclosed InTray™ system enhances safety by preventing contamination and reduces exposure to collected samples.

InTray™ R2A

The InTray™ R2A is a microbiology sample collection, transport, and culture device for heterotrophic plate counts of stressed or compromised bacteria from treated or potable water samples. The fully enclosed InTray™ system enhances safety by preventing contamination and reduces exposure to collected samples. This device integrates with standard method 9215 D as outlined by the American Public Health Association (APHA) in Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Waste Water.

InTray™ SDA

Sabouraud Dextrose Agar (SDA) is recommended in the United States Pharmacopoeia (USP) for use in performing total combined mold and yeast counts (Microbial Limits Tests). InTray™ SDA and InTray™ SDA + PVG are general-purpose microbiology devices that allow for simultaneous growth and observation of pathogenic and non-pathogenic fungi, including yeasts and dermatophytes. The InTray™ SDA is slightly inhibitory against bacteria and is designed for sampling a large spectrum of fungal growth. Bacterial inhibition is further enhanced with the introduction of the antibiotics Polymyxin B, Vancomycin and Gentamicin in the InTray™ SDA + PVG, for use in samples with suspected high levels of bacterial contamination. For isolation of fungi from potentially contaminated specimens, best practice suggests the selective InTray™ SDA + PVG should be run in parallel with the non- selective InTray™ SDA.
